I'm from a really small town in Oklahoma, like 33 kids in my graduating class small. I grew up there with my 6 siblings, grandparents, a bunch of aunts, uncles, and cousins. We also had a menagerie of random farm animals people would leave with us.
When I graduated I got out of there pretty quickly and started college at U of A in Fayetteville, and finished up at NSU in Tahlequah where I met some of my closest friends who are in the testimonials below.
After college I moved to Tulsa and went from a warehouse job, to an accounting office, to accounting software tech support, to software testing, to software development, where I am now.
When I'm feeling creative I like to dye things. It started with tie dying shirts and now it's ice dying whatever I feel like.
In the kitchen, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and try to make a lot of
my meals from scratch. Right now I'm focusing on plant based dishes, but I'll still
smoke a rack of ribs when I have friends over.
I also love to get outdoors
and spend time on the water kayaking and floating the river. I also like to camp and
hike when the weather isn't in the triple digits.
My most recent interest is yoga. I've been taking classes at Be Love here in
Tulsa and I love the physical and mental exercise. It helps my body and mind feel
calm and cared for.
